Danny was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he attended Iowa State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Journalism. In an attempt to delay getting a normal job he moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue acting and writing.

You may recognize him from his role as Barker, the prison guard turned zombie in “Dead Men Walking” or critically acclaimed roles such as savage native in “King of the Lost World” or guy at rave in “Rolling”

Danny James is a personal trainer to the rich and somewhat famous and a contributing editor to hipsterdbag.com currently Danny lives in Los Angeles.
