David is a musical theatre major graduate of the Pinellas County Center For The Arts (P.C.C.A) in St. Petersburg Florida. where he met Writer/Director Jack Venturo. Jack approached David after seeing his performance in "Carmina Burana" and David quickly signed on to play Father Hazzard in "Stanley 2 - The Legacy" in 1999. David moved to New York in 2001 and went to Marymount Manhattan College to major in acting and minor in film on a complete four-year scholarship. David Moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and has been busy starring in theater productions, tv shows, independent films and portraying characters such as The Beast in Disney's “Beauty and the Beast”, Bobby Strong in “Urinetown”, Trevor Graydon in “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, Psuedolus in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”, “MTV's Wannabe - Fred Durst”. In July of 2008 David signed on to play Mike Freeman the lead role in "The Death of Tempo" a dark comedy short film in which Haverty transforms into a manic depressive temporary office worker/musician who is trapped in his own world of despair and is a victim of his job, his life and himself. |
